The 'Ally' Approach – Natural Management Coaching

Your health journey is a personal one. There is “no one size fits all” approach. Sometimes following general health advice, we believe we know about eating right and living healthily, does not give us the desired results. Be this weight loss, more energy, better sleep, or manageable stress.

 

With me as your ally, we can explore all aspects of your diet and lifestyle behaviours. Formulating a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan to give you the best chance of achieving your health goals — this is the Natural Management Coaching approach. Working together we will overcome the barriers to change that you might face or have faced in the past. The evidence shows that personalised support provided on a one to one basis gives you the greatest chance for success.

Hi, I am Carla

I am a Brighton based Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach, dedicated to supporting and empowering individuals, like you, to live well and balanced lives. Now specialising in IBS, I am deeply passionate about the power of coaching as a means to deliver personal change and have been practicing as a coach in different disciplines for over ten years.

 

Before becoming a Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach, I worked as a Physiotherapist for the NHS coaching people back to physical health following illness. Working within healthcare for many years has allowed me to observe the negative impact our modern lifestyle, such as lack of activity and diets high in sugar, can have on our long-term health.

Nutrition is at the heart of health. It is fundamental to our existence and, for me, one of the most joyous aspects. I love food and I love eating.  Above all I enjoy creating dishes to share with family and friends - knowing that I am making tasty and satisfying meals that will nourish my loved ones.

 

This passion in part stems from my Italian heritage, where food is at the centre of almost everything. Full of health promoting foods, the Mediterranean diet has been proven to improve the quality of both health and longevity. This is not exclusive to Mediterranean cooking of course and the same principles that make it so beneficial can be applied to all cuisines, preferences, and backgrounds and is something I enjoy doing for family and clients.
